Manual Access Token
If automatic connection fails, you can manually enter your Admin API access token below. This token is obtained from your Shopify admin panel.
Your token is stored securely in our database and never shared. It's only used to fetch your product images.
How to Get Your Access Token

Go to Shopify Admin

Navigate to Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps

Enable Custom App Development

If not already enabled, click "Allow custom app development" and confirm.

Create an App

Click "Create an app", give it a name like "Excel Image Download", and click "Create app".

Configure API Scopes

Go to Configuration tab, click "Configure" under Admin API, and enable read_products scope. Save.

Install and Get Token

Go to API credentials tab, click "Install app", then click "Reveal token once" to copy your Admin API access token.

Paste Token Above

Paste the token in the field above and click "Save Token". Your connection will be established automatically.

Getting Started
Excel Image Download helps you bulk download product images from your Shopify store. You can download all product images organized in folders by product name, category, or custom structure.
How to Download Images

Connect Your Store

Open the app and switch to the "Shopify Store" tab. Your store will connect automatically if the app was installed from the Shopify App Store.

Browse Products

After connecting, all your products with images will be displayed as cards. You can see the product name, image count, and price for each product.

Select Products

Click on product cards to select them, or use "Select All" to choose all products. Selected products are highlighted with a purple border.

Download

Click "Download Selected" to start downloading. Images will be organized in folders and downloaded as a ZIP file.

Using with Excel/CSV
You can also upload an Excel or CSV file containing product image URLs. The app will:

Troubleshooting

If the app isn't connecting automatically, the quickest fix is to uninstall and reinstall the app from your Shopify admin.
Common Issues & Solutions
Store won't connect automatically
This usually happens when the OAuth token wasn't saved during initial installation. Solution:
  1. Go to Settings → Apps in your Shopify admin
  2. Find "Excel Image Download" and click Uninstall
  3. Go back to the App Store and reinstall the app
  4. The app will now connect automatically

Alternatively, you can manually enter your access token in the Connection tab.
"Could not load products" error
This error means the access token doesn't have the right permissions. Solution: Make sure your app has the read_products scope enabled. If you created the token manually, go to your custom app settings and enable this permission.
White/blank screen when opening the app
Try these steps:
  1. Clear your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete / Cmd+Shift+Delete)
  2. Hard refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R)
  3. Try opening the app in an incognito/private window
  4. If none of these work, uninstall and reinstall the app
Download limit reached
Each plan has daily and monthly download limits. If you've reached your limit:
  • Free: 50 images/day, 500/month
  • Basic: 250 images/day, 5,000/month
  • Pro: 500 images/day, 10,000/month
  • Enterprise: Unlimited
Consider upgrading your plan for higher limits.
How to Reinstall

Uninstall the App

Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → Find "Excel Image Download" → Click Uninstall

Wait a Moment

Wait 10-15 seconds for the uninstallation to complete fully.

Reinstall from App Store

Go to the Shopify App Store and install "Excel Image Download" again. The app will automatically set up the connection during installation.

Verify Connection

Open the app — it should automatically connect and show your products without asking for any token.
